How do I Install AIM on Leopard (OS 10.5)

Well... as it turns out, you don't need to install AIM (AOL Instant Messenger).  You can use the instant message client that is already installed by default with Leopard.

1. Open IChat ( it is the blue Icon that looks like a message balloon with a camera on it)

2. Press the "Apple" key + ','

3. This should get you to the preferences for IChat. Click on "Accounts" 

4. Now Click on the "+"button on the left-bottom

5. From the "Account Type" drop-down menu choose "AIM account"

6. Enter your AIM id and password, click Done and you are ready to go!
